How I work

I am Benjamin, a software engineer working mostly in TypeScript across the whole stack: React and Next.js at the front, Node and GraphQL behind it, Postgres and Mongo underneath. Today I am Principal Engineer at Modulify, where I look after the platform across every environment and keep its AI services fast.

Most of what I build starts as something I wanted to exist: a cleaner way to handle environment variables, an IP lookup that answers instantly, a website builder that speaks Albanian, a small extension that keeps a browser tab quiet. I ship them, run them, and keep them alive rather than leaving them as demos.

The writing comes from the same place. When a build breaks in a way that costs me an afternoon, I work out why and write it down properly, so the next person searching that exact error finds an answer instead of a thread with no ending.
